Since 2021, you can study Jyotish (Indian astrology) in Stuttgart, online, or through a distance learning course offered by the Dirah Academy at the Jyotish Practice. The distance learning course is designed as a self-study program but can be supplemented with support from your mentor via email, in-person meetings, phone calls, or written correspondence.

The guided distance learning course offered here is structured so that it explains the theory in a total of 14 lessons, which you then apply to your own horoscope. It has proven its worth over the past two decades and was originally developed by Roeland de Looff, who also offers this course in English.
The Astrovedic Academy translated it into German, and it was provided to me in collaboration with Roeland de Looff. The Dirah Academy International was conceived and founded by the Dutch astrologer Roeland de Looff. It is dedicated to promoting and preserving Vedic astrology and offers internationally recognized distance learning courses.
Prerequisites for participation: A basic knowledge of Western or Indian astrology is highly recommended. If you are unsure about your astrology skills, please contact me.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Cost: The total course fee is €798. The first installment of €399 (including sales tax) is due upon registration.
The second installment of 399 euros (including sales tax) for the second part of the course is due between the 5th and 6th lessons if you wish to complete this portion as well in order to finish the course.
The course fee includes: a binder for your course materials, the course materials themselves, a printed copy of your personal horoscope (including all sub-horoscopes), and the horoscopes covered in each lesson. It also covers written corrections and feedback throughout the course, as well as personal contact with your supervisor. Additionally, you will receive recommended reading materials tailored to your current level of training.
Course participants are entitled to support via phone, video conference, and email. For phone support, the supervisor allocates one hour (60 minutes) per calendar month. If you complete the course successfully, achieving good results on the exercises, you will receive a certificate in Applied Vedic Astrology.
In addition, you have the option to participate in extended hybrid in-person sessions, which are subject to a fee. These sessions cover the course material in greater depth and breadth and include practical examples related to the course content. You can also purchase recordings of these sessions later, even if you are unable to attend in person.
